V. The True Gospel of Yeshua Ha Mashiach

I. INTRODUCTION

We the Mashiachim invite all who will hear to discover the true and original Gospel of the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach. Even now, many might be wondering, "Are the Mashiachim suggesting that the gospel generally preached today is not the true Gospel of Jesus Christ?" To that, we unequivocally say, YES!, that is exactly what we are saying.

To some, this claim might appear quite audacious, presumptuous, or perhaps even offensive, but we kindly ask that you suspend any judgment until you've reviewed the Biblical evidence we shall present below. It is our hope that your fear of God, which is the beginning of both knowledge and wisdom (Prov 1:7,9:10), will compel you to investigate our claim. Be warned then, for if you have only heard the 'gospel' preached by those outside the Mashiachim, we are certain that you have only heard a false gospel; and, as it is written:

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." -Galatians 1:8-9

Imagine, if you will, that over the vast expanse of two millennia, the pure, original Gospel message had become distorted—not necessarily due to alterations of the sacred Scriptures themselves, but rather because the interpretive lenses through which people view these texts have been manipulated by misguided or even malevolent oligarchs of the past. The implications of such a reality are staggering, and it is this very reality that we shall prove true as we present to you the authentic Gospel message of Yeshua HaMashiach. A message that has long been hidden behind the twisted teachings and machinations of fallible men. Men who lacked in neither wealth nor power, that is for sure, but who lacked, in any quantity, the Spirit of God.

Therefore, please allow us to present to you the real Gospel of Yeshua Ha Mashiach as delivered through the sacred Scriptures, a message you've most likely never heard before:

II. THE LAMB OF GOD

As was proclaimed by John the Baptist regarding the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach:

"Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" -John 1:29b

The immediate question arises, did John the Baptist err in his declaration? Did the Lord Yeshua only bear the sins of a specific group of people, or, as John the Baptist proclaimed, did He indeed take away "the sin of the world"?

Despite John's clear statement, modern preachers deny these words, teaching that Yeshua only took away the sin of the elect -- or that He only takes away the sin of those who "accept" His free gift. However, John the Baptist said quite clearly that He takes away "the sin of the WORLD"

As emissaries of the Truth, we, the Mashiachim side with John the Baptist, anointed and appointed by God Himself, not some confused preacher appointed by men. As we shall demonstrate, John the Baptist's proclamation aligns perfectly with all other scriptural revelation and reveals a profound truth: Yeshua did not die for a select few, nor was His atonement "limited," as some false teachers have claimed. Rather, Yeshua died for the sins of literally everyone that has ever lived or would ever live, and took away "the sin of the WORLD."

As it is plainly written:

"For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of ALL men, especially of those who believe." -1 Timothy 4:10

Notice the particular wording: "God... is the Savior of ALL," not exclusively of those who believe, but "especially of those who believe". This statement alone dismantles the established false doctrine pertaining to the modern gospel. Unfortunately, many who identify as followers of Yeshua either misunderstand or completely ignore this profound truth altogether. Yet, the scripture is emphatic: God is the Savior of "ALL" (1Tim 4:10).

Many people, however, might now ask, "How is God the Savior of "ALL" people when the Bible teaches that most people end up in "everlasting punishment" (Matt 25:45-46,7:14)?"

That is a good question. The answer is simple. Read on, my friend, understanding that we, the Mashiachim, have not only been sent to teach the truth, but also to deprogram those who have been brainwashed with lies.

III. THE FREE GIFT COMES TO ALL

As we have stated above, the scripture is emphatic that God is the Savior of "ALLpeople (1Tim 4:10). However, outside of we, the Mashiachim, modern 'Christianity' is completely bereft of this knowledge. The misunderstanding stems from the one of the most poignant questions one can ask:

"What has God saved "ALL" people from?"

The Bible is clear that God, through Yeshua, "takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29b)

Therefore, if all the people of the world have had their sins taken "away," then they are also saved from the "WAGES OF SIN" (i.e. the consequences of sin) "WHICH IS DEATH" (Romans 6:23).

So, what did God, through Yeshua, "save" "ALL" people from? DEATH. He saved them from death, which is the "wages of sin."

Listen very closely, for it is clearly written:

"For since by man [i.e. Adam] came death, by Man [i.e. Yeshua] also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ ALL shall be made alive." -1 Corinthians 15:21-22

And again:

"Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act THE FREE GIFT CAME TO ALL MEN, resulting in justification of LIFE." -Romans 5:18

The "FREE GIFT" which "ALL MEN" (i.e. all mankind) shall receive (Rom 5:18) is "the resurrection of the dead" (1 Corinthians 15:21-22), i.e. "LIFE".

Unfortunately, modern Bible teachers outside of the Mashiachim do not understand, believe, or teach what the Bible plainly states here. However, this point needs to be made abundantly clear:

Who shall receive the "free gift"? -"ALL MEN" (Romans 5:18). What is the "free gift"? -"the resurrection of the dead" (1 Corinthians 15:21).

Listen to what the Lord Yeshua Himself says about the resurrection of the dead:

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which ALL who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." -John 5:28-29

Do you see? ALL shall be made alive (1Cor 15:22) not only the "good," but also the "evil." Therefore, "God... is the Savior of ALL men, especially of those who believe(1Tim 4:10) because He has saved all mankind from "the wages of sin... DEATH"(Rom 6:23).

As Paul so boldly declared, "I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust" (Acts 24:15).

We shall all live again! Isn't that good news?

IV. SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH... FROM DEATH

Embedded in the sacred words of Ephesians 2:8-9, we find an undeniable truth: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Yet, this profound wisdom has been misinterpreted and contorted by modern-day Christianity.

Many believe these words speak of the ultimate salvation – a key to enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 7:21). This interpretation, however, is far from the truth. Look closer, delve deeper, for these verses do not allude to ultimate salvation or entrance into the Kingdom, but rather, to salvation from death (Rom 5:18).

Ephesians 2:8-9 speak of the "gift of God," a boon bestowed generously upon all beings. What is this extraordinary gift? It is none other than the "free gift" of "resurrection from the dead" (Rom 5:18; 1 Cor 15:21). It is through Yeshua, our Lord, that this gift is granted to all humans.

But today's preachers, swathed in their mistaken interpretations, proclaim that these verses guarantee ultimate salvation. They then paradoxically claim that we must take action (such as believing, repenting, being baptized) to receive this "free gift". In doing so, they contradict the very essence of a "gift". If one must toil or labor for it, it ceases to be a gift and becomes a wage earned. The sheer magnitude of their hypocrisy is indeed boundless.

The real truth lies in recognizing that salvation from death, the resurrection, is a "free gift" (Rom 5:18; 1 Cor 15:21-22). It is a gift that every soul that has ever drawn breath, or ever will, receives. It is given freely, without a requirement for labor or accomplishment (Matt 11:28). For as Ephesians 2:9 states with finality, "it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast".

Look, the theological premise laid out in Ephesians 2:8-9 (above) is that the salvation from death is entirely a "gift of God." In context, it must be understood that both the "grace" and the "faith" mentioned in this verse are deemed as "not of yourselves." This is because both the "grace" and the "faith" mentioned above are the "grace" and "faith" of Yeshua (John 1:14), not you. That is why it is completely the "gift of God" and "not of yourselves"! It is not your grace! It is not your faith! It is the "gift of God" and that "not of yourselves"!

You see, mankind was incapable of redeeming itself from the curse of death (Gen 2:17; Rom 6:23), so God sent a savior to save mankind -His Name is Yeshua. It was by His grace, His work, His obedience, and His faith that we will all now be resurrected from the dead, i.e. "saved" from the curse of death (Gal 3:13).

Again, this is exactly what Paul the Apostle mentioned in his letter to the Romans:

"Therefore, as through one man’s [i.e. Adam's] offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s [i.e. Yeshua's] righteous act the free gift came to ALL men, resulting in justification of life." -Romans 5:18

Just as death pervaded all humanity through Adam's sin (Romans 5:12), so the resurrection (life) is granted to "ALL" through Yeshua's righteousness (Romans 5:18). This must be made unequivocally clear. In fact, this is why, in the same manner, the apostle Paul reiterates this again to the Corinthians:

"For since by man came death, by Man also came "the resurrection of the dead". For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ ALL shall be made alive." -1 Corinthians 15:21-22

Modern interpreters overlook these powerful affirmations that "ALL" will receive "the resurrection of the dead". Again, the scriptures are explicit: the "free gift" received by "ALL" is the "resurrection of the dead" (1 Corinthians 15:21-22). The “free gift” is not conditional on any human effort or merit at all, but wholly relies on God's grace through the Lord Yeshua. The manifestation of Yeshua's righteousness is the resurrection, and it has been made available freely to all.

Free means just that: FREE!

V. THE RESURRECTION OF LIFE AND THE RESURRECTION OF CONDEMNATION

With the last section in mind, listen to what the Lord Yeshua says once again:

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which ALL WHO ARE IN THE GRAVES will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." -John 5:28-29

The truth of Yeshua's words here are of paramount importance. They establish that:

1) "ALL" people will be resurrected,

2) that only "those who have done good" will be allowed the "resurrection of life",

3) and that "those who have done evil" will be condemned.

As we have already established above: "Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act THE FREE GIFT [i.e. resurrection of the dead (1Cor15:21-22)] CAME TO ALL MEN, resulting in justification of LIFE." -Romans 5:18

Looking at Yeshua's statement in John 5:28-29, we learn that although everyone will be resurrected as a "free gift" that "came to all", everyone will also be judged by what they have done, whether good or evil. This is reiterated many times by the authors of the New Testament throughout their writings, but one of the most poignant places is in Matthew 25:31-46. Listen to what Yeshua says:

“31. When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35. for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36. I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37. “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38. When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39. Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40. And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

41. “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42. for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43. I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

44. “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45. Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46. And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Yeshua could not be more clear. The True Gospel could not be more clear. Although all people have been saved from death and will be resurrected as a "free gift", ONLY "those who have done good" will "inherit the kingdom" (Matt 25:34).

Make no mistake, mankind was completely incapable of saving themselves from death. We have been saved from death and granted resurrection by the grace and faith of Yeshua HaMashiach alone (Eph 2:8-9; Romans 5:18). However, ultimate salvation, i.e. entrance into the Kingdom of God, REQUIRES OBEDIENCE (1John 2:4) and GOOD WORKS (John 5:28-29). This is why Yaaqub (a.k.a. James) is so clear on this point:

"You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." -James 2:24

And again, as Yeshua Himself made abundantly clear:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." -Matthew 7:21

And again, as Kefa (a.k.a. Peter) made abundantly clear:

"And if you call on the Father, Who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear." -1 Peter 1:17

VI. DO THE MASHIACHIM PREACH A "WORKS-BASED" GOSPEL?

With that said, many modern teachers outside the Mashiachim claim that we preach a "works-based" Gospel. We, the Mashiachim, do not deny this. Neither did the Lord Yeshua or His Apostles. In fact, both Yeshua and His Apostles were quite bold in their declarations about people being justly judged by what they have done (John 5:28-29; Rom 2:6-11; 1Pet 1:17). So are we.

However, let it first be known that we, the Mashiachim, both affirm and establish that mankind was wholly incapable of saving themselves from the curse of death (Rom 3:23). Only the Lord Yeshua, Who lived a perfect and sinless life (Heb 4:15), was worthy to be "the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29b), and His work was completely "finished" on the cross (John 19:30). In essence, "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). Through His death and resurrection, Yeshua paid this wage on behalf of humanity (1Cor 6:20,7:23; 1Pet 1:18-19), "the Just for the unjust" (1Pet 3:18), providing a way for mankind to escape death (Rom 5:18; 1Cor 15:21-22).

However, although the work of saving mankind from the curse of death was wholly completed by the Lord Yeshua alone (Eph 2:8-9), now everyone will be resurrected (John 5:28-29; Rom 5:18; 1Cor 15:21-22) and face judgment (Heb 9:27; John 5:28-29) on the Day of Judgment (Acts 17:31) and be judged by what they have done, whether good or evil (John 5:28-29).

Therefore, make no mistake, although our salvation from death was a "free gift" (Rom 5:18; 1Cor 15:21-22) provided by God through Yeshua HaMashiach, our ultimate salvation and entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven is absolutely based on what we do in this life (1John 2:4; Matt 25:31-46).

As it is clearly and plainly written, God, “"will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God" (Romans 2:6-11).

And again, in Matthew 12:36-37, Yeshua plainly states: "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the Day of Judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

And again, in Matthew 16:27, Yeshua declares: "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works."

Then, in John 5:28-29, Yeshua says: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."

Additionally, the following passages speak to the same doctrine:

2 Corinthians 5:10: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad."

Galatians 6:7-8: "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life."

Ephesians 6:8: "Knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free."

Colossians 3:24-25: "Knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality."

1 Peter 1:17: "And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear."

Revelation 2:23: "I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works."

Revelation 20:12-13: "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works."

Revelation 22:12: "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work."

VII. TWO DEATHS & TWO SALVATIONS?

Most people today are unaware that the Bible teaches us dual concepts of Salvation and dual concepts of Death. In 1 Timothy 4:10, for example, we encounter the assertion that God "is the Savior of ALL MEN, especially of those who believe". This verse depicts the existence of two types of Salvation: All men are saved by God (that's 1), but those who believe are especially saved (that's 2).

Equally, Revelation 21:8 conveys the concept of dual forms of death when it mentions a "second death". As it is written:

"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Having established the principles of two types of salvation and two types of death, let's delve into understanding the two distinct forms of Salvation and Death:

Salvation #1 - The first form of Salvation depicted in the Bible is the deliverance from physical death. Essentially, the Scriptures present this type of Salvation as the "free gift" of resurrection to all, irrespective of a person's belief or lack thereof (see Rom 5:18; 1Cor 15:21-22; John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15).

Salvation #2 - The second form of Salvation is the attainment of entrance into the everlasting Kingdom of God. This Salvation, however, is not universal but exclusive to those who believe and obey the Lord Yeshua (John 3:16; Matt 7:21,25:34; 1 John 2:4).

As Yeshua Himself makes clear in John 5:28-29: "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."

This passage elucidates the nature of these two salvations further. Resurrection (the first type of salvation) comes to all (Rom 5:18; 1Cor 15:21-22; Acts 24:15). Then, "the resurrection of life" is only granted to those who believed and led righteous lives (i.e. those who had "done good").

On the other hand, those resurrected to "condemnation," while they initially received the free gift of resurrection (Rom 5:18; Acts 24:15), will ultimately face the "second death", as detailed in Revelation 21:8. They are resurrected (first salvation) only to be judged and condemned (second death).

Death #1 - The first death is the physical death which all human beings inevitably face due to the consequence of sin, as stated in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..." (also see Heb 9:27). However, this death is not the end, as the promise of the first salvation - resurrection - follows it (see Rom 5:18).

Death #2 - The second death, as detailed in Revelation 21:8, is the final, spiritual death: "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." This death is the "everlasting punishment" (Matt 25:46), endured by those cursed to the "resurrection of condemnation" (John 5:28-29).

As demonstrated above, the Bible distinctly portrays two types of Salvation and two types of Death. The first salvation, the "free gift" (Rom 5:18) of resurrection, saves all from the first death. The second salvation, however, is exclusive to believers, offering eternal life and thus saving from the second death - where people will undergo "everlasting punishment" (Matt 25:46).

VIII. THE FALSE DOCTRINE OF TWO JUDGEMENTS

Contrary to modern teachings that propose two distinct judgments—one for believers and another for non-believers—the Mashiachim firmly adhere to the Biblical assertion of a singular judgment. Scripture consistently affirms one comprehensive Judgment Day, where every individual, whether believer or unbeliever, will face the Lord Yeshua for judgment. Our belief is deeply rooted in this singular judgment scriptural truth.

A prevalent error within the dual-judgment theory involves the misinterpretation of the term 'bema seat judgment.' In 2 Corinthians 5:10, the phrase "judgment seat of Christ" is derived from the Greek term 'βῆμα' (bema), which translates as 'elevated seat of judgment.' The notion that 'bema' pertains solely to the judgment of believers and not unbelievers lacks scriptural support. If two separate judgments existed, both would inherently involve 'bema seat judgments,' therefore, their point is mute.

Furthermore, the Lord Yeshua explicitly clarifies in Matthew 25:31-33: "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, with all the holy angels, He will sit on His glorious throne. All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." This passage underscores the all-encompassing nature of the judgment, encompassing all, not just certain groups. The simultaneous presence of "sheep" (believers) and "goats" (unbelievers) reinforces the truth of a unified Day of Judgment.

Even further supporting a single judgment, Acts 17:31 emphatically states, "He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the man He has ordained." It is clear: the entire world, believers and non-believers alike, will be judged collectively on this certain, single appointed day.

Romans 2:5-11 also emphasizes, "On the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, He will render to each according to their deeds..." These verses confirm that judgment is simultaneous for all, applying universally without distinction.

Additionally, John 5:28-29 teaches, "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." Here again, the judgment of the righteous and unrighteous occurs concurrently, not only on the same day, but in the same hour!

Despite these clear teachings, some argue, based on erroneous translations of John 5:24, that believers "do not come into judgment." This arises from a mistranslation of the Greek word 'κρίσις' (krisis), translated as "judgment" in many modern translations of the Bible. However, the Greek word 'κρίσις' (krisis) doe not mean "judgment", it means "condemnation."

For example, more accurate translations like the 1599 Geneva Bible correctly render John 5:24 as: "Verily, verily I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but hath passed from death to life."

The mistranslation of 'κρίσις' has led some to conclude erroneously that Christians face no judgment whatsoever. However, this contradicts multiple other biblical passages which clearly indicate that Christians will indeed be judged, albeit not for condemnation but for the evaluation of their deeds.

Thus, the notion of two separate judgments not only conflicts with the unified scriptural message of a single Day of Judgment but also misrepresents the nature of the believer's judgment. Scripture is unequivocal: all humanity will stand before Lord Yeshua on one decisive Day of Judgment. The theory of two separate judgments, one for believers and another for unbelievers, is fundamentally, outright wrong and completely unsupported by the Bible.

IX. THE GOSPEL IS SIMPLE BUT COUNTER-ARGUMENTS MAY CONFUSE

"But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." -2 Corinthians 11:3

Despite the detailed explanations and refutations above, the essence of the Gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach remains remarkably simple and straightforward. The intricacies found in this discussion aren't a reflection of the Gospel's inherent complexity, but rather a necessary step to unravel and debunk widespread misconceptions and false teachings prevalent in the modern world. By addressing these misunderstandings and false teachings first, we can clear the path to present the real Gospel's simple and profound truth.

Unfortunately, however, the world has been brainwashed with a false gospel. Indeed, even the Apostle Paul expressed deep concern in his own day, exclaiming, "I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ." -Galatians 1:6-7

Just think, if the original Gospel of Yeshua HaMashiach had already been perverted during the time of the Apostles, imagine how far removed from it the world might be now, more than 2,000 years later. Indeed, Paul also prophesied to the entire assembly, saying, "For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears." -Acts 20:29-31. Do you think this Pauline prophesy was left unfulfilled? No, that prophesy was absolutely sure and it came to pass a long time ago.

The false gospels prevalent in the world today necessitate a thorough examination and, where needed, a debunking of such misguided teachings. This is not to complicate the original, Biblical Gospel, but to liberate it from the shackles of misinterpretation. It is in unmasking these false gospels that we pave the way back to the pristine, simple truth of the original Gospel as taught in the Scriptures.

X. THE SIMPLE, ORIGINAL GOSPEL OF YESHUA HAMASHIACH

So, without further delay, here is the simple, original Gospel Message of Yeshua HaMashiach:

1. THE BAD NEWS:
We have all inherited curse of sin and death from our ancestor Adam (Rom 5:12), and all of us have sinned (Rom 3:23), thereby earning the wages (i.e. the consequences) of sin, which is death (Gen 2:17; Rom 5:12,3:23,6:23). Therefore, humanity was sentenced to die and would have remained dead forever (1 Cor 15:17-18).

2. THE GOOD NEWS:
But Yeshua HaMashiach, the only begotten Son of God, through His sacrificial death and resurrection, has saved us all from eternal death (Rom 5:18; 1 Cor 15:22). Now everyone, good or bad (Acts 24:15; John 5:28-29), will be resurrected one day. God saving mankind from death is an unearned, free gift of grace, freely given to all (Eph 2:8; Rom 5:18; 1 Cor 15:21-22), for Yeshua was the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world (John 1:29) and has purchased all mankind back from death (1Pet 1:18-19). Now, even though we will all die (Heb 9:27), we shall all live again (1Cor 15:22)! That's right, all of us -every single human being- will be brought back to life by the power of God through Mashiach our Lord! Isn't that great news, i.e. the "Gospel"?!

3. THE FINAL NEWS:
However, after we have been brought back to life, i.e. resurrected, in our new, perfect, immortal bodies (1Cor 15:42-45) --bodies that can never die again-- we will all be judged according to our deeds based on what we have done in our lives, whether good or evil (John 5:28-29; Matt 16:27; Rom 2:6-8; 1 Pet 1:17; Rev 20:12-13). As it is written: "...In the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God (Romans 2:5-11).

XI. WHAT MUST WE DO TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE?

Now we come to what a person must do to "be saved" or inherit eternal life and be granted passage into the Kingdom of God:

1. Believe in YHWH the One and Only God:

  • Exodus 20:2-3: "“I am YHWH your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me."
  • Deuteronomy 6:4-5 - "Hear, O Israel: YHWH our God, YHWH is one! You shall love YHWH your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength."
  • Proverbs 3:5-6 - "Trust in YHWH with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
  • Isaiah 43:10 - “'You are My witnesses,' says YHWH, 'And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me.'"
  • 1 Corinthians 8:6: "Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live."
  • Matthew 5:24: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him Who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."

2. Believe in the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach:

  • Deuteronomy 18:18-19: "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him."
  • Mark 9:7: "And a cloud came and overshadowed them; and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”
  • John 5:36: "But I have a greater witness than John’s; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish—the very works that I do—bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me."
  • John 6:63: "It is the Spirit Who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The Words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are Life."
  • John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
  • Acts 16:31: "So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach, and you will be saved, you and your household.'"
  • John 14:1: "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."
  • Romans 10:8-10: "... If you confess with your mouth the Lord Yeshua and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

3. Repent of your sins:

  • Acts 2:38: "Then Kefa (a.k.a. Peter) said to them, 'Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"
  • Acts 3:19: "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord."
  • Mark 6:12: "So they went out and preached that people should repent."
  • Revelation 3:3 "Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you."

4. Obey the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach:

  • John 14:15: "If you love Me, keep My commandments."
  • Matthew 7:21: "Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven."
  • 1 John 2:3-4: "Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, 'I know Him,' and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God."
  • Hebrews 10:24-25: "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching."
  • 1 John 5:3: "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."

5. Do good:

  • Genesis 14:14-16: "Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan. He divided his forces against them by night, and he and his servants attacked them and pursued them as far as Hobah, which is north of Damascus. So he brought back all the goods, and also brought back his brother Lot and his goods, as well as the women and the people."
  • Deuteronomy 15:11 - "For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.'"
  • Micah 6:8 - "He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?"
  • Proverbs 3:27 - "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do so."
  • Isaiah 1:17 - "Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow."
  • Jeremiah 22:3 - "Thus says the Lord: 'Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.'"
  • Proverbs 21:3 - "To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice."
  • Isaiah 58:10 - "If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as the noonday."
  • Zechariah 7:9-10 - "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart against his brother.'"
  • Galatians 6:9: "And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
  • Ephesians 2:10: "For we are His workmanship, created in Mashiach Yeshua for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
  • Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."
  • 1 Peter 1:17: "And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear."

Brothers, we leave you with this timeless wisdom from a man after God's own Heart:

The Character of Those Who May Dwell with the Lord:

A Psalm of David.
1 Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle?
Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
2 He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
3 He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend;
4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised,
But he honors those who fear the Lord;
He who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
5 He who does not put out his money at usury,
Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things shall never be moved.
                                                                      -Psalm 15:1-5
